A special EMV presentation.
Bahauddin Dagar is a world master of the rudra veena, an ancient classical musical instrument of India. Since his debut in 1990, Bahauddin has become acclaimed for his highly responsive, contemplative playing style; prayerful and expansive sound; and commitment to exploring and advancing dhrupad through innovations in instrument construction and technique.
Immersed in subtle microtonal expression, powerful resonance, and improvised melodic and rhythmic virtuosity as Bahauddin Dagar goes between form and formless along with pakhavaj artist Tejas Tope.
