In this remount of Bernard Cuffling’s acclaimed production, Susan Hill’s arresting ghost story comes dramatically alive in Cuffling’s ingenious stage adaptation. A brilliantly effective and gripping study in atmosphere, illusion, and controlled horror. “One of British theatre’s biggest—and scariest—hits.” (The Guardian).

November 8 – November 30
Acknowledged as one of the finest Canadian musicals of all time, this one-man tour-de-force—starring Metro favourite Damon Calderwood as Billy Bishop, and accompanied by pianist Chris Robson—recounts the triumphs and horrors of World War One, “the war to end all wars” through raucous stories, haunting memories, and vibrant songs, as Bishop traces his journey from Royal Military College troublemaker to top flying ace.

Norm Foster has been the most produced playwright in Canada every year for the past twenty years. In this hilarious comedy, a furniture store owner is having an affair with the local minister’s wife. The situation becomes complicated when the minister comes home unexpectedly. An intricate web of deceit is hilariously exposed as the police, parishioners and the women’s auxiliary all get involved. Norm Foster’s plays are very popular with Metro audiences—get your tickets early!

February 28 – March 22
One of Agatha Christie’s darkest tales, its growing sense of dread and unfaltering tension will keep you guessing to the very end. Ten strangers are summoned to a remote island, each marked for murder. As the weather turns and the group is cut off from the mainland, the bloodbath begins. Our production of The Mousetrap was a huge hit last season and we expect this thrilling play to be every bit as popular!

A hilarious black-comedy classic, Arsenic and Old Lace tells the story of Abby and Martha, two murderous old women who poison people and then have their nephew—who thinks he’s Teddy Roosevelt—bury the bodies!
