What remains when we are gone?
That’s the question Chor Leoni will be exploring in less than two weeks as theyunveil two incredible new works that explore our human legacies at Earth and Aether: the archaeology of soul and sky, on May 11.

Be sure to be at St. Andrew’s-Wesley for this rare, must-see musical experience — and be the first to hear new works from two of the most sought-after choral composers of our day: Melissa Dunphy and Grammy-nominated Kile Smith.

If you were there last November as Chor Leoni premiered High Flight, a stunning new major work from our Composer in Residence, Don Macdonald, you know what a treat it is to hear entirely new works come to life, especially those that were specifically written for the soaring voices of Chor Leoni. Be in the audience as Chor Leoni shares these two companion pieces composed for the unique sonic blend of Chor Leoni, harp, and soprano saxophone, and let the sound carry you from the earliest days of wireless radio transmissions, down into the ground to examine the artifacts we’ve left behind.
