Besides a stellar cast, Metro Theatre has go some incredible talent working behind the scenes on this one, from their incredible Director Catherine Morrison to the brilliant set design by Francesca Albertazzi, to set construction by Metro legend Rob Moser. This is Metro’s final show of the season and it is a showstopper!
It’s 1939, Hollywood. Legendary film producer, David O. Selznick has his movie “Gone With The Wind” finally cast, but he has just fired his director and is not satisfied with the screenplay. Enter the new director (who is still trying to finish The Wizard of Oz) and a renowned screenwriter. These three try, over a gruelling week, to make sense of Margaret Mitchell’s 1,037 page book! The decide to act out the story, taking the roles of Scarlett, Rhett Butler, Prissy, etc. A hilarious tour de force from playwright Ron Hutchinson.
